Katherine Lyons Reckman is an associate attorney and member of CCB’s Family Law Group . She received her Bachelor of Arts from Regis University. Ms. Reckman received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2012.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Reckman taught preschool, was a snowboard instructor and worked as a Constituent Services Representative for U.S. Congressman Ed Perlmutter. After her first year of law school, she interned for the Honorable John L. Kane of the U.S. District Court of Colorado. For two years of law school, Ms. Reckman interned and worked under a Senior Student License for Cabrini Green Legal Aid in Chicago as part of their family law group. Ms. Reckman received the Dean’s Certificate of pro bono service from DePaul for her work with CGLA. As a part of DePaul University’s Family Law Clinic, she was able to gain further exposure to and experience with family law cases.

Following law school, Ms. Reckman worked for Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center assisting in dependency and neglect cases and assisting in juvenile legal research. Most recently, Katherine was a law clerk for the Honorable Andrew P. McCallin in Denver District Court and helped the Judge manage his civil docket.

Katherine is a Denver native and enjoys photography, running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and most anything outside, preferably with her husband Nick, two sons and black labs, Oscar and Steve.
