Joseph G. Makowski was admitted to the New York Bar on September 18,1979. From that date until 1985, Mr. Makowski was an associate at the Buffalo law firm Albrecht, Maguire, Heffern & Gregg PC. From 1985 to 1998, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary to Computer Task Group, Inc., a publically traded information technology company headquartered in Buffalo, NY. Beginning in 1999, Mr. Makowski served at a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court in the Eighth Judicial District until 2009. Simultaneously, from 2001 – 2004, he served as Presiding Justice for the Commercial Division of the court. During his time on the court, Mr. Makowski was credited with 5,200 civil case dispositions. In 2009, he founded Joseph G. Makowski, LLC, a corporate and commercial law boutique. |
