Ms. Maneri received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 1988. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 1985 with a degree in International Relations and a concentration in Latin American Studies. While at Rutgers School of Law, Ms. Maneri was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Advanced Criminal Procedure. Also while at Rutgers, she clerked for the Office of the Federal Public Defender. She was admitted to the New Jersey and New York State bars in 1988.

Upon graduating law school, Ms. Maneri accepted her first position in the field of criminal law by being sworn as an Assistant District Attorney for Kings County (Brooklyn), New York. There she was assigned to the Misdemeanor Crack Unit where she prosecuted narcotics offenses. Shortly thereafter she moved to New Jersey and became an assistant prosecutor in Burlington County. While serving as a prosecutor in Burlington County, Ms. Maneri worked in the grand jury unit until assigned to supervise the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes unit. As supervisor of the sex crimes unit, Ms. Maneri was responsible for the oversight of all investigations by county detectives assigned to sex crimes. She prosecuted various violent crime offenders including high profile cases of police officers charged with sex crimes.

Ms. Maneri was instrumental in developing the protocol in Burlington County for the screening and enforcement of Megan’s Law cases. She supervised all aspects of community notification when high risk offenders were released to the community. She also handled all tier designation appeals.

Ms. Maneri also has several years of experience in the area of criminal defense having worked at a South Jersey law firm exclusively representing clients charged with indictable offenses in superior court, juvenile court, family court for domestic violence matters and municipal court. She has also represented clients in Federal Court for possession of child pornography and smuggling. Ms. Maneri has sucessfully argued at the Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court including a favorable decision that protected her client from a mandoratory prision sentence.

Ms. Maneri was welcomed into the Sitzler and Sitzler firm in 2011. Ms. Maneri is a member of the New Jersey State and Burlington County Bar Associations. Ms. Maneri also sits on the Judiciary Minority Concerns Committee for the Burlington Vicinage. She is fluent in Spanish.
