Sarah Martin joined KCNF in August 2016. She is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College (A.B. 2007) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D. 2013).Before joining KCNF, Sarah practiced at a Pittsburgh law firm where she represented employees and students in a variety of employment and education law matters. She has written about legal issues faced by employees in the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Legal Journal and the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s At Issue. At the University of Pittsburgh, Sarah served as the Executive Editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review and on the board of the Pittsburgh Incoming Sharing Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to raising money to fund summer legal internships with public interest organizations. She interned in the chambers of Chief Magistrate Judge Lisa Pupo Lenihan of the Western District of Pennsylvania and in the Employment Unit of Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.Before pursuing a legal career, Sarah worked in the technology and communication departments of a progressive D.C. non-profit organization.She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
