Morgan McAtamney joined The Smith Law Offices, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in June of 2018. Morgan attended Michigan State University for both her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctor. At MSU Law, Morgan was a King’s Scholar and a clinician at the Chance at Childhood Clinic, where she assisted at-risk families with divorce, guardianship, custody, parenting time, adoption, and support matters. Morgan graduated from Michigan State University College of Law Magna Cum Laude in 2015. Prior to her employment at Smith Law Offices, Morgan was employed as a law clerk with Stephens Family Law throughout law school and was eventually hired as an Associate Attorney at the firm following her admission to the State Bar of Michigan in November of 2015. Morgan was also employed as a Crime Victim’s Legal Assistance Program attorney in Marquette from August of 2017 through May of 2018. In those positions Morgan continued to assist clients in various family law matters, both advocating for clients in divorce, custody, and personal protection cases. |
