Mr. McDaniel began his legal career as a law clerk at the Norfolk Circuit Court. During this time, Mr. McDaniel was exposed to numerous personal injury cases, including automobile accidents and medical malpractice suits. During his clerkship, Mr. McDaniel provided valuable legal research to the judges, aiding them in their decisions.

Mr. McDaniel is an Iowa native, and graduated cum laude at the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in political science. He then attended the University of Richmond School of Law where he also graduated cum laude. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Moot Court and the University of Richmond Law Review, serving as the Symposium Editor in his third year.

In his spare time, Mr. McDaniel enjoys the outdoors by hiking, being out on the water, attending concerts, or playing with his lab, Nala.
