As a result of his extensive civil litigation practice, Mr. McKee has developed expertise in all of the following litigation specialties: general and professional negligence claims; automobile accident claims and Michigan No-Fault law; wrongful death litigation and settlement procedures; liquor liability and social host liability claims; bad faith and insurance coverage claims; personal exposure claims and exempt assets; liability releases, indemnity, and subrogation; statutory liens and setoffs; general commercial and breach of contract matters; and risk management and litigation avoidance strategies.

Mr. McKee appears regularly in state and federal trial courts throughout Michigan. He has successfully tried or settled hundreds of serious personal injury and/or wrongful death claims arising out of almost all kinds of accidents, including complicated automobile accidents; pedestrian accidents; boating accidents; personal watercraft accidents; workplace accidents; premises liability accidents; motorcycle accidents; trucking accidents; bicycle accidents and accidents involving large construction equipment. He has also successfully handled many types of commercial, insurance and employment-related lawsuits.

Mr. McKee regularly serves as a case evaluator and mediator, having extensive experience with facilitative mediation, case evaluation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution procedures.
