Adrienne Mendle joined The Grey Law Firm as an associate in 2018. Adrienne grew up in the bay area before attending UCLA, where she majored in philosophy and graduated summa cum laude. Upon graduation, Adrienne was one of the recipients of the prestigious Donald Kalish prize, awarded to the philosophy department’s top graduating students each year.

After graduating from UCLA, Adrienne headed to the east coast to attend Harvard Law School. During law school, Adrienne became immersed in health law and policy, participating in Harvard’s Public Health Law and Policy Clinic, and spending a summer as a legal intern at Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California. While in law school, Adrienne also spent a summer as an associate at Chadbourne & Parke, a mid-size Manhattan law firm.

Since finishing law school, Adrienne has worked to secure access to affordable, quality healthcare for vulnerable bay area residents, first as a staff attorney with PRC (formerly Positive Resource Center), and then as a staff attorney in the Health Consumer Center of the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County. At PRC, Adrienne represented HIV+ San Franciscans as they sought public disability and health benefits. At the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, Adrienne focused on developing her expertise in health care advocacy, working to overcome eligibility and service denials for her low-income clients.

In her free time, Adrienne enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband.
