Stephen Meyer is a fifth generation attorney who is proud to serve the low country community. He attended American University in Washington, DC, where he earned a degree in Political Science. After college, Steve spent three years working in the marketing industry in Washington, DC.

Steve attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, along with a Children’s Law Certificate. During law school Steve served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law and Education’s 44th volume.

Law school honors include membership in The Order of the Coif, Order of the Wig and Robe, and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. In addition, Steve was an I.M. Goldberg Family Law Scholar and earned CALI Excellence Awards in Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing, Special Education Law, Parents, Children, and the Law, and Business Associations.

Steve is married to Hillary Meyer, who is an attorney in Beaufort, South Carolina. He began working at Vaux Marscher Berglind, PA in August of 2015. When not at work, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an Eagle Scout and also loves to cook, run, and play basketball and tennis. Steve is an avid fan and supporter of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
