Mr. Miller was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in Business and Economics. He attended the Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated cum laude in 1985.

Mr. Miller began his legal career as a trial attorney United States Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Division, where he was hired through the Justice Department’s Honors Program. In 1986, he joined the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted numerous criminal and civil matters before entering private practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1989.

Mr. Miller is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has appeared before numerous state and federal courts throughout the United States at both the trial and appellate levels.

Mr. Miller has represented a wide variety of businesses, including banks, broker/dealers, real estate developers, leasing companies, franchisees, and numerous other entrepreneurs and business entities. He has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, and has successfully tries cases to verdict and successfully prosecuted appeals.
