Jeff Moore practices in the areas of Business, Land Use/Real Estate, Environmental, Energy, Construction and Administrative Law. He adds value to his representation of our clients by bringing approximately 25 years of environmental consulting, engineering, construction and business experience to the table. During this time he has owned and operated businesses, designed and implemented solutions to legal and technical problems throughout the United States, overseen construction projects, negotiated on behalf of clients and supported his clients in litigation in state and federal courts. Jeff is a licensed professional engineer, a licensed geologist and is a recognized author of both legal and technical articles in the topics of energy and environmental law and environmental remediation and construction. One of Jeff’s most recent articles, The Potential Law of On-Shore Geologic Sequestration of CO2 Captured from Coal-Fired Power Plants, was published in 2007 in the Energy Law Journal of the Energy Bar Association.

Jeff received a B.A. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia in 1982, a B.S. in Geology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1984, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1989 and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2008. Jeff is admitted to practice before the Maryland Bar.
