Atiya Munroe began working at Coye Law Firm as a law clerk while attending and ultimately graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in college, Atiya was the BLSA International Negotiation Competition National Champion. She was sworn into the Florida Bar in April 2015.

Before her life as an attorney, Atiya was a teacher for high school and college students. She graduated from Winter Park High School from their international baccalaureate program and earned her B.S. from the University of Florida in 2005, where she majored in Finance and minored in Education. Atiya then continued her education at Florida State University and earned her M.S. in Mathematics Education in 2007.

She primarily taught mathematics to 9-12th graders as well as remedial math at the college level. She taught Algebra I through Algebra II IB, geometry, and informal geometry at the Apopka, Winter Park, and East Side High Schools.

On the college level, she taught beginning and intermediate algebra at Santa Fe College and Valencia Community College.

In her free time, she loves to play soccer and has been playing the sport for 22 years.

Atiya looks forward to continuing to help our clients solve their legal problems. While she primarily handles workers’ compensation claims, she also works with our Family Law, Probate & Estate Planning, and Disability clients.
