Kate is an associate attorney with Rincker Law, PLLC working primarily from the Illinois office. Kate is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut.

Kate joined Rincker Law, PLLC as an associate attorney in 2017 and concentrates in all aspects of family and commercial law. A portion of her practice is also devoted to animal law.

Prior to joining Rincker law, Ms. Murray worked in New York City for a large Wall Street firm where she specialized in corporate litigation. Additionally, Ms. Murray previously worked as an associate at a boutique firm in Champaign where, in addition to corporate law, she expanded her practice to include family law and intellectual property related matters.

While in law school Kate served as law clerk at the United States Department of Education in the Office for Civil Rights and as a judicial intern for the Hon. Patricia Broderick of DC Superior Court, and the Hon. H.F. Gierke, Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Prior to law school, she worked as a Congressional Aide.

Kate is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she majored in Political Science and History. She obtained her law degree from Catholic University in Washington D.C.

Ms. Murray is a native of Champaign-Urbana and enjoys practicing in this community.
