Laura then graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University-Thomas Cooley Law School in 1995 where she worked as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Michigan; interned at the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic; and served as Managing Editor of the Thomas Cooley Law Review, receiving the John D. Voelker Award for outstanding service to the Law Review prior to her graduation.Prior to joining Peterson, Berk & Cross, Laura maintained a general legal practice while teaching law and paralegal practice at Globe University. In 2014, she won election to the Village of Suamico Board of Trustees. In 2017, Laura was elected to serve as the Vice Chair on the Junior Achievment of Brown County Board of Directors. Laura has been actively volunteering in her church since approximately 2001.Laura lives in Suamico with her husband and two sons. |
