Katherine was born in Fairfax, Virginia and has lived in the Philadelphia area for almost 10 years. Katherine graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2013. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, and was a published member of the Villanova Law Review, where she served on the board as a Managing Editor of Student Works. Her article was later featured in a Symposium held by the Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina in March 2014. During law school, Katherine served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jacqueline C. Cody of the Court of Common Pleas for Chester County. She also interned at the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia. Upon graduating law school, Katherine clerked for the Honorable Shawn D. Meyers of the Court of Common Pleas for Franklin and Fulton Counties. In July 2015, Katherine served as a panelist at the Annual Meeting of the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The panel was entitled "Should PA Trial Court go to the Dogs?" and focused on the legal and practical implications of utilizing courthouse facility dogs in various courtroom settings in the Pennsylvania trial courts. Prior to coming to Post & Post, Katherine was associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in Montgomery County, where she focused her practice on professional liability defense and appellate practice. Katherine graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia in 2009, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Political Science. Katherine worked as an intern for the Virginia War Museum and was a member of the Mighty Marching Captains Color Guard. Katherine is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In March of 2018, she was admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States at an admission ceremony in Washington, DC. |
