Chris is an Associate with Shaw, Morrow & Joseph, P.A., and assists members of the firm in their representation of professionals in malpractice claims. Chris is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served as the Senior Staff Editor on the Intellectual Property Law Journal, and earned a Certificate of Concentration in Business Law. While in law school, Chris served as a Clerk for the Maryland Court of Appeals’ Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure, and had his writing published in a University of Baltimore School of Law journal.Chris has been honored by being named a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2013. In addition to practicing law, Chris is very active in community and political organizations. Chris represents the Third District of Baltimore County on the Baltimore County Arts and Sciences Commission, an organization which encourages the development of high-quality art, science, and history programs through grants to cultural institutions and non-profit community organizations in the Greater Baltimore area. Chris also represents the Sixth District of Baltimore County on the Baltimore County Landmarks Preservation Commission, an organization which identifies and protects historically significant properties in Baltimore County and also regulates the renovation of properties which have been listed on the historic property registry. Prior to attending law school, Chris earned his B.A. degree in Philosophy and Political Science at Salisbury University. While at Salisbury University, Chris was a member of the Bellevance Honors Program, was inducted into both the Phi Sigma Tau and the Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Societies, and served as a Legislative Aide in the Maryland House of Delegates. Outside of work, Chris enjoys duck and goose hunting, fishing, cooking, Baltimore sports, and spending time with family and friends. Chris lives with his wife, Jackie, in Baltimore County.
