After graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Ms. Nuñez worked with students with emotional difficulties and as a teacher of English as a foreign language. She was a Heywood Burns Fellow in Civil and Human Rights at CUNY Law School where she earned her law degree. She is on the board of the Learning Disabilities Association and an active member of the Children at Risk committee of the San Diego County Bar Association. Meagan Nuñez represents students with special education needs aged 3-21 in school districts throughout San Diego and Riverside Counties. As a native San Diegan and a parent, Ms. Nuñez is committed to ensuring that local students have access to a meaningful education. She represents students ages 3 through 21. |
