Attorney Dan O’Connell is a shareholder with the Tuft, Lach, Jerabek & O’Connell, PLLC, law firm in Maplewood, Minnesota. Serving clients throughout the Twin Cities metro region, as well as all of Ramsey County and the surrounding areas, Mr. O’Connell devotes his practice exclusively to family law and helping his clients through the complex and emotional divorce process.

Board-certified in family law trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and possessing over 30 years of legal experience, Mr. O’Connell has helped hundreds of clients with their issues involving child custody and support, property division, alimony, and other related matters. He is also a licensed CPA in Minnesota, so he has invaluable insight in helping his clients with property and business valuations, tax issues, and other complex financial matters.

Trained in mediation and alternative dispute resolution techniques, Mr. O’Connell strives to help his clients resolve their conflicts and reach agreements without the need for court intervention; however, he will not hesitate to aggressively fight on behalf of the rights and best interests of those he serves in court when necessary.

He is highly active in his legal community, and he once served as president for the Minnesota Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and for the Ramsey County Bar Association. A fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, he is also heavily involved with the Collaborative Law Institute and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
