Sheri is a labor and employment lawyer licensed to practice law in the states of Georgia and New York, USA. She is also admitted to the bar in Ontario, Canada.

Over the past ten years, Sheri has gained the education and experience representing both employers and employees in all manner of workplace-related disputes. For instance, she has assisted management in different industries in the drafting and implementation of human resource policies, employment contracts, and non-compete/non-solicitation agreements (restrictive covenants). She has also assisted public and private employees in whistleblower defense, unpaid wage claims, and discrimination/harassment, among many other complex legal issues. Sheri has represented clients in litigation at federal and state courts, in mediation and before federal government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Sheri earned a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Osgoode Hall Law School, arguably the best law school in Canada, after graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts honors in Communications and a minor in International Relations and Global Politics in her undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa. During law school, Sheri was Vice President of the Labor and Employment Law Society and Mentor Coordinator for the Black Law Students Association (BLSA).

In her community Sheri has donated several hours of work to non-profit organizations and charities such as Pro Bono Students Canada and the Atlanta Victims Assistance, Inc.

Though Sheri has enjoyed traveling worldwide and living in Addis Ababa, Belgrade, Lagos, Abuja, Ottawa, and Toronto, she also loves being at her Atlanta home with her collection of unique cacti, her dear husband, Wole and her two daughters Ore and Tiwa.
