Devon joined the labor movement when she played harp at a benefit concert for members of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra who were in the midst of stalled contract negotiations. She attended law school at the University of Cincinnati where she accepted a Peggy Browning Fellowship to work with the IUE-CWA in Dayton, Ohio. While still in law school, Devon won an issue of first impression in the Ohio Court of Appeals, State v. Pankey, http://law.justia.com/cases/ohio/first-district-court-of-appeals/2012/c-110547.html. After graduation, Devon went on to defend the rights of indigents charged with crimes at the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office. There, she represented over 300 adult and juvenile clients at one of the premier public defender offices in the country. She worked in private practice at the Law Offices of Michael N. Oser before joining Kircher, Suetholz and Associates in 2015. Devon joined BS&J in the Spring of 2018.

Devon is admitted to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, the Eastern District of Kentucky, and the Western District of Kentucky. She is a proud member of USW Local 1693 and the Louisville Federation of Musicians Local 11-637
