SAMUEL J. OWEN founded Samuel J. Owen, P.C. in 1976 as a firm specializing in serving the estate planning needs of his clients. The firm’s practice consists of matters related to estate planning, probate, will and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship issues and litigation in these areas. Mr. Owen has practiced law in Denver, Lakewood and Golden for his entire career. He graduated from Drake University and received his law degree from the University of Nebraska. He is a member of the bar in Colorado, Nebraska, the U.S. District Court, U.S. Tax Court and U.S. Supreme Court. He is presently affiliated with the Denver Tax Association (President, 1982), Centennial Estate Planning Council (President, 1982), Colorado Bar Association Probate and Trust Law Section, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Member of Colorado, Denver, First Judicial District and Nebraska Bar Associations. Mr. Owen lives in Golden with his wife, Pat; they have two daughters and four grandchildren. His interests included reading, skiing, running, hiking and traveling. |
