Joshua Michael Palmintier is the son of Michael Carter Palmintier – founding partner of Palmintier Law – and has been a student of the law his entire life. He officially joined the team at Palmintier Law in 1996 as a filing clerk and by 2003, Mr. Palmintier had worked his way up to Associate Attorney. Mr. Palmintier is a native of Baton Rouge, a graduate of Catholic High School, and earned his B.A. in Philosophy at Louisiana State University. Mr. Palmintier received a Juris Doctrate from Southern University Law Center in May of 2002.

Mr. Palmintier has developed a broad civil practice handling cases in many practice areas from auto accidents and premises liability to mass tort, class actions and multi-district litigation. Mr. Palmintier has successfully represented hundreds of clients in both trial and settlement efforts. In 2009, along with his father, Mr. Palmintier was a member of the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet paradigm case trial team which was successful in the litigation of Hurricane Katrina-related damages caused by the negligence of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Palmintier currently represents clients in the Multi-District Chinese Drywall Litigation.

Mr. Palmintier is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Louisiana Association for Justice, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.
