Dan has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning and estate administration, elder law, which includes Medicaid Planning and Crisis Medicaid Planning, tax law, and real estate law. Dan takes great pride and satisfaction in helping families protect their assets and their legacy from long-term care costs, Medicaid spend down, and estate recovery actions. Dan earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Dan worked for Westlaw, a small law firm focusing in criminal defense, and the Ohio State Public Defender’s Office Death Penalty Division where he was given the opportunity to work on death penalty appeals and clemency applications. Prior to law school, Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University and his Associate of Arts degree from Holy Cross College.Dan was born in Wichita, Kansas, but was raised in central Indiana. Dan and his wife, Catherine, reside in Spring Hill, and are parents to two young children, William and Landon. During his downtime, Dan is an avid reader, an enthusiast of American Civil War History, enjoys long distance running, and is lifetime fan of Purdue Football and the Indianapolis Colts.
