Michelle A. Philo is Of Counsel to Kring & Chung, LLP. Her practice focuses on business transactions, including formations, maintenance, mergers, dissolutions; trademarks; estate planning; and probate. Ms. Philo has represented several business owners who utilize her services in reviewing contracts and agreements, preparing annual corporate documents and filings, preparing contracts related to stock purchases and ownership transfers, and preparing contracts related to their ongoing daily business needs. She also prepares comprehensive estate planning packages, including trusts, wills, powers of attorneys, and advanced healthcare directives. Her prior litigation experience provides her with a unique insight in drafting documents intended to protect her clients if litigation should result.Born and raised in Southern California, Philo graduated from Chapman University with her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and received her Juris Doctor, from Whittier Law School in 2012. Ms. Philo is active in the legal community. She was appointed by the California State Bar to serve as a California Delegate to the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association, the policy making body of the organization. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, is the Chair of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and is the President for the Whittier Law School Alumni Association.
