Timothy Pope is the Department Head of the firm’s Social Security Disability Group. He is a senior associate at Joel H. Schwartz, P.C. and concentrates his practice in Social Security disability law only.

Prior to joining Joel H. Schwartz, P.C., Tim was an associate at a well-known Social Security disability firm in Massachusetts. In this capacity, Tim advocated successfully for disabled clients in over fifteen hundred hearings throughout New England. He is a longstanding member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and recently was honored on the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Attorneys under 40. This prestigious membership is awarded to the top lawyers under age 40.

Tim attended the College of the Holy Cross, where he graduated cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2004. He then went on to Suffolk University Law School where he graduated cum laude in 2007. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and in the United States District Court of Massachusetts, and can advocate at Social Security Hearings anywhere in the country.

In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. An avid sports fan, Tim also enjoys playing hockey and softball.
