Andrew Y. Prochnow is an senior associate of the firm and a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Finance and Corporate Practice Groups.

Mr. Prochnow’s practice involves the representation of investors, landowners, landlords, developers, property managers, and tenants in connection with a wide array of commercial real estate transactions including site acquisition, finance, development, leasing and disposition. Mr. Prochnow’s practice also focuses on the careful drafting, negotiation, and review of various business and corporate law matters such as mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and organization, entity governance and strategic planning, as well as general contract drafting and negotiation. He regularly counsels and confers with numerous business entities on strategic management decisions as well as short and long term business planning.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Prochnow’s practice focused on business and insurance defense litigation as well as appellate law. He has both successfully defended and facilitated the settlement of several multi-million dollar lawsuits based on claims of unfair business practices, trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract. Mr. Prochnow has also successfully argued and defended multiple matters on appeal before the California Courts of Appeal for both the Second District and Fourth District.

Mr. Prochnow earned his law degree from Santa Clara University in 2008 where he focused his studies on real estate law and business planning. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Southern California in 2004.
