Jason litigates complex class actions related to consumer protection, worker rights, civil rights, and public fee recovery.

His consumer protection practice focuses on defective products. His worker rights practice concentrates on the improper denial of minimum wages and overtime pay. His civil rights practice centers on violations of due process rights, and his public recovery practice focuses on the recovery of taxes and fees for local governments improperly evaded by major banks and corporations.

Jason graduated from Grinnell College in 2006 (B.A. with honors in political science and religious studies). After college, he traveled to Fiji, Mauritius, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname on a Watson Fellowship, studying the Indian diaspora. He received his law degree from the Duke University School of Law, where he was on staff at the Duke Law Journal as an articles editor. In law school, he also worked for the Self-Employed Women’s Association in Ahmedabad, India, on behalf of street vendors seeking an injunction against the city government for unlawful harassment and evictions. He is the author of a law review note and article on racial discrimination. Jason is admitted to practice in Illinois and Washington, D.C.
