Nathan’s background includes more than 28 years of investigation and litigation experience in complex criminal matters in both federal and state courts. His extensive background includes the presentation of clients in a wide range of governmental investigation and prosecutions including complex wire, mail and bank fraud, health care fraud, embezzlement, computer crimes and RICO violations.

Nathan has also represented individuals in complex drug conspiracies, hate crimes, terrorism and child pornography cases. His experience in state court includes representation of individuals charged with the death penalty and all other crimes. His successful representation of clients has included not guilty verdicts in aggravated murder and attempted murder trials. Nathan has represented clients in state appellate courts throughout Ohio, including the Ohio Supreme Court as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Nathan is a member of the Akron Bar association where he currently serves on the Certified Grievance Committee and is the past chair of the Federal Court Committee. He was an adjunct professor at the University of Akron School of Law for seventeen years where he taught Trial Advocacy.
