Michael Ryan has lived in the Fox Valley area since he was five years old. Before pursuing his law degree he served four years in the U.S. Air Force and is a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He graduated from Loyola University School of Law and was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1981.While he has experience in many areas of the law, today his practice is entirely family law and has been for over twenty years. He has been trained as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for children and has been receiving appointments as a GAL for the last eighteen years. Michael is also qualified as a mediator in the area of family law and has been since 1992.After many years working in Kane and McHenry County, he founded the law firm of Michael E. Ryan, P.C. in January of 2008. In 2013 Michael’s son Justin joined the firm as a partner and the name was changed to Ryan Family Law P.C.. Michael is proud to have raised four children and continues to reside in the Fox Valley area with his wife Jane. |
