Attorney Shepherd graduated from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. She then worked in the computer field for sixteen years before attending Franklin Pierce Law Center, now known as the University of New Hampshire School of Law. Deborah earned her juris doctor in 2003. While in law school, she participated in the Civil Practice Clinic and the Child Advocacy Clinic, providing services to clients at reduced fees or pro bono. Deborah also participated in the Mediation Clinic and mediation competition during law school. Deborah is admitted to the NH Bar Association and is a member of the Family Law Section of NH Bar. Upon graduation, Deborah was employed by a general practice law firm working on personal injury, property disputes, criminal defense, landlord/tenant, small business, and family law cases. Since starting at Clark Law Offices in 2004, Deborah’s focus has been on family law matters. She is trained as a Collaborative Law attorney and as a marital mediator. Attorney Shepherd also handles litigation matters including DCYF abuce/neglect cases, guardianship cases, and other family law cases for divorce, child custody/parenting, child support, Grandparents’s Rights, Father’s Rights, and domestic violence cases.
