| Description | Nikki is a Utah native, and spent time between Park City and Colorado until, at age 15, she moved to New Zealand. Nikki attended school in New Zealand and graduated with a Bachelor of Science honors degree in psychology and went on to obtain her master’s in psychology. Following backpacking through Europe, she decided to change career paths and applied to law school. Nikki specifically chose to study law at the University of Utah as it provided an opportunity to give back to the Utah community. While attending law school, she was involved in the Rocky Mountain Innocence Project , and also interned with the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association. These programs provided Nikki with amazing opportunities to increase her knowledge about criminal law and the justice system. Nikki has a passion for criminal defense work and knows the importance of providing a voice for everyone in the justice system. Before joining Lokken & Associates, P.C., Nikki worked at a small firm providing criminal defense and family law services. Nikki also works in the area of parental defense, and enjoys the opportunity to assist in reuniting families. In her free time, Nikki enjoys snow sports, hiking, baking, reading and spending time with her two small humans. |
