Brandon Snellings grew up in Phenix City, Alabama where he attended Glenwood School. While in high school, Brandon participated in the World Affairs Seminar at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, as well as, the National Student Leadership Conference for Law and Advocacy at American University in Washington, D.C. He was also named as a state finalist in Alabama for Wendy’s High School Heisman for his efforts in football, tennis, academics, and community service.

Following high school, Brandon attended Mercer University receiving the Josiah Penfield Scholarship. At Mercer, he double majored in political science and international affairs and was inducted into the Gamma Sigma Alpha honor society. Additionally at Mercer, Brandon played for Mercer’s tennis team and joined Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity serving as both its president and vice- president during college. Brandon also participated in Lambda Chi at a national level attending the Impact Leadership program at the University of Florida and serving on the fraternity’s national status committee at the University of Maryland.

Continuing his education, Brandon attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law as a Jesse Mercer Scholar. There, he focused his studies on trial practice while competing and advancing in Mercer’s oral argument and client counseling competitions. Additionally, Brandon obtained a certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting from Mercer which is home to the Legal Writing Institute. During law school Brandon spent two years working in the fields of Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation for a firm in downtown Macon, Georgia. He then returned to Columbus to clerk for Judge Doug Pullen and Judge Bobby Peters of the Muscogee County Superior Court, Chattahoochee Judicial District.

Brandon continues to enjoy growing through new experiences and traveling, having previously studied abroad in both Costa Rica and Morocco. However, he is pleased to return to his hometown area while becoming involved in the community by participating in local CORTA tennis leagues and Beyond the Game Sports flag football leagues.
