Amanda M. Sowell is a litigation and real estate attorney with Harlin Parker. Her areas of practice include trucking/transportation defense, premises liability, insurance defense, and real estate. Amanda also assists with representation involving electric utility cooperatives, city/county governments and law enforcement agencies, along with their insurance carriers. Amanda obtained her Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law, where she graduated with cum laude honors and served as a Moot Court Board member. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, with double minors in French and Political Science, from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Amanda is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Amanda is a member of the Bowling Green Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, American Bar Association, Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, Defense Research Institute and American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Amanda has presented on workers compensation at the Mississippi Bar Convention in Biloxi, Mississippi. She has also spoken on the issue of transportation litigation at the ALFA Transportation Regional Seminar in St. Louis, Missouri.

Amanda has been successful in developing new clients for our firm. She has negotiated substantial resolutions for our clients.
