Dr. Srisiri received her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude, ranked first in her graduating class, while working full time as a patent agent. Dr. Srisiri also holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Arizona and a masters degree in business administration (MBA) from the Citadel School of Business.Dr. Srisiri has had extensive experience as a scientist and a business manager prior to practicing patent law. After receiving her Ph.D., Dr. Srisiri worked as a scientist at Johnson Polymer for three years before joining the Specialty Chemicals Division of MeadWestvaco Corporation as a senior scientist. Dr. Srisiri then worked as a market development manager for the Specialty Chemical Divisions of MeadWestvaco where she was responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as working closely with in-house counsel to create robust IP portfolios for various new businesses, form joint ventures/LLCs, and divest non-strategic businesses. With the desire to understand areas of legal practice affecting the protection and exploitation of technology, Dr. Srisiri pursued her J.D. degree as a part-time student while maintaining her full time job as a patent agent working in the area of chemicals, material science, green technologies, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and packaging applications, and now brings that expertise to Magleby Cataxinos & Greenwood and its clients.
