Description

Gerret is a lifelong resident of Wells County. Born in Bluffton, Indiana, he attended Canterbury High School and graduated from DePauw University with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Spanish. During his time at DePauw, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity and played violin for four years with the DePauw Symphony Orchestra.

Gerret also graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana with an emphasis in elder law and estate planning. While at Valparaiso University, he participated in a study-abroad program in Cambridge, England, and was involved in pro bono legal work with the New Orleans Public Defender’s office in Louisiana following the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

Gerret is admitted to practice law before all Indiana state courts and the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a member of the Indiana Solo and Small Firm and Elder Law Sections of the Indiana State Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Gerret lives in Uniondale, Indiana.
