Ms. Taghavi graduated cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles with degrees in both English and Philosophy. She earned a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, and is licensed by the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Taghavi has dedicated over 12 years of practice exclusively to the field of family law, including nearly 10 years as an associate at one of the largest family law firms in the nation. In 2017 and 2018, she has been selected as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, which means she is in the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40. She is an active member of the Los Angeles County and Beverly Hills Bar Associations.

Ms. Taghavi has extensive experience in the litigation of high-asset cases, high-conflict custody matters, interstate and international jurisdiction and relocation cases, restrictive gatekeeping, alienation and estrangement cases, domestic violence, and custody disputes involving extremely young and special needs children. She leads in her advocacy with a rare combination of confidence and compassion, and has been recognized by clients and colleagues as superior in her writing skills and ability to present facts and evidence both persuasively, and with precision.

Ms. Taghavi has two young sons and lives in Los Angeles. She is uniquely attuned to the needs and concerns of divorcing parents, innovative in her approach to achieving the best results for children, and determined to assist her clients in establishing effective co-parenting relationships both during and after divorce. She has formed and maintains professional relationships with the most prominent of experts, including a spectrum of forensic accountants, forensic psychologists, appellate counsel, international jurisdiction and immigration experts, and a myriad of other field forerunners, whom she relies upon when needed to navigate the process as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.

Ms. Taghavi serves on the Board of Directors for Makeovers That Matter, a non-profit charitable organization that supplies veterans, the wives and widows of veterans, and other economically challenged women with the tools they need to re-enter the workforce.
