Caitlin Twyman graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She earned her Juris Doctorate with the distinction of Highest Honor from the University of Tulsa’s College of Law. Mrs. Twyman’s passion for immigration law began in law school where she participated in the Boesche Legal Clinic: Immigrant Rights Project, providing assistance in preparing immigration petitions for crime victims. She gained additional exposure to immigration law volunteering at Catholic Charities’ Immigration Services division. During her law school career, Mrs. Twyman was an editor for the Tulsa Law Review and an active board member of the Public Interest Law Society. Prior to joining Chavez & Valko, Mrs. Twyman was selected to participate in the Department of Justice Attorney General’s Honors’ Program where she served as a judicial law clerk in the Immigration Court in Dallas, Texas. Her work involved providing legal advice and drafting opinions for the five Dallas immigration judges.Mrs. Twyman is a member of the Texas Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in the state of Texas. She resides in Fort Worth with her husband.
