Jeff Tymann is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions. Jeff has successfully obtained verdicts for his clients in a variety of complex and high exposure cases including birth trauma and wrongful death claims. He also has successfully defended physicians and other medical professionals in licensing proceedings before the New York State Department of Health, Office of Professional Medical Conduct and New York State Department of Education Office of the Professions.

Jeff has also successfully argued appeals before the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York as well as the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeal.

Jeff received his JD (cum laude) from Albany Law School in 1979. He is a member of the Justinian Society. Jeff is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He also has been consistently cited as a "Super Lawyer" in the specialty area of malpractice defense. Jeff has been a lecturer at continuing legal education seminars in medical malpractice, trial tactics and medicine in the courtroom. He has also been a lecturer at seminars presented to physicians and other medical professionals in topics ranging from legal issues in obstetrics to the anatomy of a lawsuit.
