Erica A. Vecchio is an associate with Franklin D. Azar & Associates, where she has practiced law since 2007. Her practice is focused primarily on personal injury litigation. Prior to joining FDA, Ms. Vecchio worked as a trial lawyer with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender litigating misdemeanor, juvenile and felony cases. Ms. Vecchio attended Colorado State University Pueblo and earned a Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, in Communications and Honors. Ms. Vecchio attended law school at the University of Wyoming where she graduated Order of the Barristers, with honors. While in law school, Ms. Vecchio was the winner of Client Counseling, Moot Court and Student Trial Advocacy competitions and represented the University of Wyoming in five regional competitions. Ms. Vecchio was also named the Outstanding Student Attorney at University of Wyoming Legal Services Clinic.

Ms. Vecchio a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and is a past president of the Pueblo County Bar Association where she continues to serve on the executive committee. Ms. Vecchio was named Pueblo County’s Outstanding Young Lawyer in 2009 and earned the Pro Bono Leadership Award in 2012.
