Originally from the small farm town of Hull, IA, Gina grew up spending numerous hours working on the family farm. She graduated from Boyden-Hull High School. While at Augustana University she was privileged enough to intern for Senator Charles E. Grassley in Washington D.C., and was a collegiate athlete. After graduating from Augustana she earned her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University, where she worked at the Michigan Attorney General’s office in the Consumer Protection Division. After graduation she returned to Iowa to be nearer to her family. In her spare time, Gina loves to travel, enjoy Twins baseball, NASCAR, and spending time with family. She has a passion for architecture and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Iowa Architectural Foundation. Gina is also a trained mediator and parenting coordinator. |
