In his free time, Joseph enjoys carpentry, reading, exercise, travelling with his wife Julie, and relaxing to any New York Yankees’ baseball game. Joe’s wife, Dr. Julie Vogel, is well-respected Internal Medicine physician with the Iowa Health Physicians in downtown Des Moines. Together, Joe and Julie have six adorable cats named Sadie, Sofie, Stella, Scarlett, Savannah, and Sasha. Not surprising, Joe and Julie are active volunteers and contributors to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and several other animal welfare related organizations. |
