Dennis R. Wallace II has called Charlotte County home since 1982, and having been a resident for so long, has seen many changes and watched Charlotte County blossom into the county it is today.

Mr. Wallace graduated from St. Thomas University, School of Law, in Miami, Florida, earning his Juris Doctor Degree in 2001. Since that time he has focused his practice predominately in the areas of Criminal Defense and Family Law.

Prior to opening the Law Office of Dennis R. Wallace, P.A., Mr. Wallace was a partner with the Ruhl Law Group with offices in Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers, Naples, Arcadia and Sarasota/Bradenton, where he practiced both criminal and family law. He also had the opportunity to work for the State Attorney’s Office of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit for four years, where he was responsible for 1000’s of criminal cases, including misdemeanors, juvenile, and felony offenses. He also spent time in the Lee County Special Victims Unit, prosecuting those Defendants charged with various sexual offenses and child abuse/neglect. Mr. Wallace has represented numerous clients before the various Courts in Charlotte, Lee, DeSoto and Sarasota Counties in both Criminal Defense and Family Law.

Mr. Wallace is married to his wonderful wife, Kathryn. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and boating on the waters of Southwest Florida. Being an alum of the Florida State University, Mr. Wallace is an avid fan and always has time to watch his beloved Seminoles take the field.
