Angela Warren was born and raised in Panama City and is a sixth generation Floridian. She graduated from Bay High School and then attended Gulf Coast Community College obtaining an Associates of Arts degree. She transferred to the University of West Florida and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Administration. After graduation she worked at a law firm for a year as a legal assistant before going to law school. She attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University graduating within only two and a half years. During law school she was active in the trial advocacy program and often competed in mock trial competitions. She was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and the Director of the 2003 Herbert W. Peterson National Trial Team Competition. She also earned a Scholar of Merit for Business Crimes.

After graduating from Cumberland in December 2003 she started practicing with a large statewide workers’ compensation defense firm in Pensacola, Florida. In 2004 she was given the opportunity to work in the firm’s elder law section. It was there that she discovered a passion for helping the elderly and vulnerable adults and their loved ones.

Wanting to be closer to family she returned to her hometown. From 2011 to 2017 she worked for a small, local firm that worked solely in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Asset Protection, Taxation, Guardianships, and Elder Law. Angela joined Reed Law in 2017 and practices solely in the area of Elder Law, which includes Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship. She assists elderly and vulnerable adults and their families in protecting their assets when faced with costly long-term care or nursing home care as well as planning for disabilities and distribution of assets upon an individual’s death.

Angela is civic minded and serves multiple organizations and charities. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Bay County Alzheimer’s Alliance and chairs the Silent Auction Committee for Monte Carlo Night, their annual fundraiser. She is on the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. and CROSSing Paths, Inc. Angela is active in Rotary and is the past President of the Rotary Club of Panama City Northside. She volunteers as a judge for the Bay County Teen Court Program. She is a member of the Bay County Interagency, Bay County Bar Association, Florida Bar Elder Law Section, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the St. Andrews Bay Inn of Court. She is also an active member of Hiland Park Baptist Church. She speaks frequently and has authored articles on issues related to the elderly, the disabled and workers’ compensation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two golden retrievers, Homer Jack and Molly Mae, and her cat, Sunshine. She loves to travel, sail, and spend time with family and friends.
