He has also worked as a paralegal for an immigration law firm and as a research assistant for a law professor at Rutgers, focusing on public policy options for ensuring economic human rights, specifically the right to employment. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2017. Hop is a member of both the New Jersey State Bar Association Labor & Employment Law Section and the Labor & Employment Committee of the National Lawyers Guild.
