Oded ("Ed") Weinstock was raised in Edison, New Jersey and attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, where he graduated with a degree in economics in 1999. On a merit-based scholarship, he attended the Seton Hall University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2003.

His legal career began at the highly esteemed McCarter & English law firm in Newark, where he practiced until 2005. He went on to become an associate at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf in New York and Princeton until 2007.

He then served the role as assistant prosecutor at the Union County Prosecutor’s Office until 2009, where he tried over 30 cases to verdict (both as a prosecutor and defense attorney).

In 2009, Ed struck off on his own to start Weinstock & Associates, LLC, a criminal defense and general litigation practice located in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It is here where Ed brings to practice his cumulative experience, knowledge and tenacity as well as his love of criminal defense:

In March 2014, Ed was Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Criminal Trial Attorney.

In his spare time, Ed is an avid tennis and basketball player. He is also an avid collector of mechanical watches. He loves to spend as much time possible with his family.
