Matthew Welker joined the Walk Law Firm as an associate in 2012. Mr. Welker focuses his practice on business law, business and corporate transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, advising charitable organizations, and intellectual property. He uses his background and experience to counsel, advise and advocate on behalf of his clients, including hotels, convenient stores, distributors, manufacturers, online retailers and service providers, entrepreneurs, private equity investors and more.

Prior to becoming an associate at the Walk Law Firm, Mr. Welker graduated from the University of South Florida. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Science in 2008. Matthew then attended law school at the University of Dayton ("UDSL") in Dayton, OH. Matthew participated in Dayton’s accelerated program and finished his degree in five semesters. During his tenure at UDSL, Matthew participated in the Dayton Law Review as a staff writer and a publication editor. He earned his degree in January 2012, graduating in the top 10% of his class and was even awarded the CALI Award for top score in several of his classes.
