James T. ("Jim") Young has been a member of the South Carolina Bar Association since 1991. He is also a member of the Horry County Bar Association. He earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1991, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from USC. He is active in local civic and charitable organizations. He is a Past President of the Conway Rotary Club. He serves on the Board of Zoning Appeals for the City of Conway, is a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach, and also serves on the Board of Directors for the local Salvation Army. He was born on June 6, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was raised in Gaffney, South Carolina. He lives in Conway.
