I have practiced in Tennessee for 22 years. I am also licensed in California (inactive). I came to Tennessee to teach Hospitality Law and related courses at the University of Tennessee. As an assistant professor and, later, a lecturer, I always enjoyed my classes and getting to know the students at UT.

My cases include discrimination (race, religion, age, sexual harassment, disability, national origin), retaliation (workers’ compensation retaliation, retaliation for opposing discrimination, retaliation for engaging in protected activity such as protesting unpaid overtime or employer illegalities), unemployment compensation appeals and administrative hearings for employees of TVA, UT Hospital and other governmental agencies. I also represent individuals who have been denied Family and Medical Leave Act leave, overtime, and pay under contract.
