Melinda Young is a native of Hutchinson, Kansas and a two-time published author. Melinda helped to start Bretz Law Offices in 1997, where she initially worked as a paralegal. Her love of the law, and particularly her love of helping injured clients inspired her to pursue her law degree. Following graduation from law school, she gained additional experience practicing law in Iowa until returning to her hometown and rejoining the firm. Melinda was named a partner in 2013 and the firm name was changed to Bretz & Young. Melinda is a member of the Kansas Association for Justice and the Kansas Women Attorneys Association. She is a supporter of local community organizations such as Cause for Paws and the American Red cross, and she currently serves on the board of directors for the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Center, Inc. in Reno County. |
