Mark is a member of Jordan & Zito LLC and works directly with clients to counsel them in all manner of business transactions and developing case strategy and handling all aspects of the litigation to meet their needs. Among the various matters on which he has been involved, Mark has assisted a major motorcycle retailer in the sale of one of its locations and negotiated agreements relating to financing transactions. Mark has successfully defended a business owner client in a private nuisance suit where he was granted a directed finding at trial. He also successfully defended a client at trial who was sued on a real estate contract for a broker’s commission. Over the course of his career, Mark has successfully represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters. Mark, along with Greg Jordan, of the firm, were successful in having a preliminary injunction granted in favor of their client, a fraternity alumni board, against one of the Chicago area’s national universities to stop the implementation of a housing policy that was adverse to their client’s interests. In addition, Mark has been involved in a number of different Chapter 11 cases, assisting the debtor through reorganization.

Mark is a member of the Illinois State Bar and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mark received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1998, where he was a member of the Iowa Law Review. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 1994.
